In January of 2020, our mother passed away from stage 4 brain cancer. In honor of her memory, my family started a scholarship to continue her legacy of hard work and determination. This annual scholarship awards $1000 to a graduating Mississippi high school senior that will be attending a junior college or university in the state of Mississippi.
